Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026
Overview
photoZseo ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
Data Collection
photoZseo processes all images entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos to any server. The only exception is the optional Online Store / Marketplace feature, described below — if you choose to use it, some account information is sent to our servers.
- Photos & Images: Processed locally on your device. Never sent to our servers.
- Account Information: The core app does not require an account. If you use the optional Online Store / Marketplace, you sign in with Google and we collect your email address and name (see the Online Store & Marketplace section below). Otherwise, no email, username, or personal information is collected.
- Purchase Data: Subscription and purchase information is managed by Apple (App Store). We do not have access to your payment details.
- Diagnostic Data: Anonymous crash logs and performance metrics may be collected to help us fix bugs and improve stability. No personal identifiers, no advertising ID, no tracking.
Third-Party Services
- Apple App Store: Handles purchases and subscriptions.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription status. See their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Collects anonymous crash reports and performance diagnostics. No IDFA, no advertising tracking. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Firebase Privacy.
- Shopify (export only): photoZseo does not connect to Shopify's servers. The app exports your product list as CSV, XLSX or DOCX files; you upload that file to your Shopify Admin yourself. Your data only leaves your device when you actively share or upload the export file.
Online Store & Marketplace
The Online Store / Marketplace is an optional feature. If you choose to publish a store, you sign in with Google, and we collect your email address and name. This information — together with your store details and your record of acceptance of our terms — is stored on our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, to identify you as the store owner, bind the storefront to your account, and run account-level operations such as publishing, editing, or removing your store. You can request deletion of this data at any time by contacting us. If you never use the Online Store / Marketplace, none of this information is collected.
Data Storage
All project data, images, and settings are stored locally on your device in encrypted, sandboxed storage. You can delete all data at any time from the app's Settings.
Camera & Photo Library Access
The app requests access to your camera and photo library for capturing and importing product photos. These permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
Biometric Authentication
photoZseo offers an optional App Lock feature using Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's operating system — photoZseo never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data.
Children's Privacy
photoZseo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or on this page.
